A new favorite...

|
I like cooking new things and getting creative in the kitchen. For me cooking is relaxing. It's the clean up that I don't like. Who does? I like to watch The Food Network for ideas and then come up with my own version of a recipe. A new favorite in our house is Sauteed Broccolini. Here's the recipe.

1-2 T. Olive Oil
1/4 t. red chili flakes
1 clove garlic minced
2 bunches of Broccolini
salt
pepper

Heat oil in a large saute pan on medium high heat. Wash and trim ends off broccolini. Cut in to 2 inch pieces. Add red chili flakes and garlic to oil and saute for 1-2 minutes. Add the broccolini pieces. Saute 7-10 minutes until tender. Season with salt and pepper. Serves 6.

Have you tried anything new lately?
